Senior Test Engineer - Cold Plate Testing (Liquid Cooling)
A dynamic, flexible, innovative, and multicultural work environment, Employee stock participation plan (PSOP), and a high-quality office environment!
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to help leading the qualification and validation of next-generation cold plate projects for liquid-cooling systems. Your testing insights directly shape engineering designs and ensure our cold plates meet customer performance requirements. You will build and refine test setups, run validation campaigns, collaborate with external partners, and deliver clear feedback that improves product performance.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Equipment Readiness
Support procurement of test equipment and materials, including BOM creation.
Design, build, and qualify hydraulic loops, thermal test benches, and mechanical fixtures.
Develop and maintain calibration procedures and SOPs.
Ensure all setups are fully validated before testing begins.
Documentation, Reporting & SOP Development
Create and update test SOPs with clear steps and supporting visuals.
Improve documentation for clarity and consistency.
Prepare test plans, reports, and performance summaries that provide actionable insights.
Translate test results into recommendations that influence engineering designs.
Sample Handling, Test Execution & Insight Generation
Oversee receiving, labeling, tracking, and preparation of cold-plate samples.
Define inspection criteria for consistent test readiness.
Execute qualification, characterization, and performance tests with high accuracy.
Identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate and support test cycles with external partners.
General Responsibilities
Maintain high safety and quality standards in the laboratory.
Collaborate with development, operations, quality, procurement, and partners.
Drive improvements in testing workflows, tools, and documentation.
Contribute to a scalable and efficient test environment.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field.
5-6 years of experience in testing, validation, or lab-based engineering.
Experience with thermal/hydraulic testing and lab environments.
Strong data processing skills (Python, Excel).
Excellent technical writing abilities.
Experience with liquid-cooling components is a plus.
Strong English language skills are required.
You are a good fit if:
You enjoy hands-on testing and influencing engineering designs.
You communicate clearly and collaborate well.
You are organized, reliable, and detail-focused.
You like solving practical problems and improving test methods.
This won’t be the right role for you if:
You prefer theoretical work over practical testing.
You are uncomfortable with hardware or documentation.
You avoid collaboration or feedback.
You are not proactive about improving processes.
