VP of Simulation Software
Vice President of Simulation Software
About Corintis
Corintis is a startup that is a provider of advanced semiconductor cooling technologies. Some of the biggest challenges of our lifetime, from climate modeling to drug discovery, constantly require more computing power. More powerful chips generate more heat; extracting this heat is a major challenge for our future.
Current cooling systems are not only limited but also wasteful; cooling data centers consume more power than London and New York combined. At Corintis, we remove these limitations by integrating cooling directly inside the chip. We enable the sustainable computing of the future to address the biggest global challenges.
Working at Corintis
Corintis offers a friendly and team-oriented workplace bringing together a diverse group of nationalities to solve the biggest computing challenges of tomorrow. Based on the EPFL campus near Lausanne, we are closely connected to the local ecosystem and are located a few minutes walk from Lake Geneva.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly autonomous Vice President of Simulation Software to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Corintis’ thermal simulation and optimization software portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role shapes the long-term direction of our simulation products, ensuring they remain best-in-class for modeling multiphysics behavior in next-generation semiconductor cooling systems.
The VP of Simulation Software owns the product vision of “Cooling Design Automation”, drives strategic customer partnerships, ensures world-class execution, and leads the engineering organization through our next phase of growth.
Responsibilities
Analyze competitor capabilities and identify opportunities for differentiation. Evaluate risks from industry or competitor developments and adapt strategy accordingly.
Define the 2–5 year product vision and simulation strategy aligned with company goals while prioritizing monthly & quarterly features.
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing simulation software engineering organization that guarantees the execution of the planned roadmap.
Own the overall product architecture and technical strategy, ensuring scalability, performance, and integration across simulation components.
Define clear value propositions for customer segments. Drive pricing and licensing strategy.
Monitor industry trends in CFD, multiphysics simulation, cloud-native simulation, AI-driven modeling, and automation workflows, and translate them into product implications and investment decisions.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers to understand their current workflows and main pain points. Ensure our simulation tools are accessible, performant, and aligned with end-to-end customer processes.
Own key business metrics related to product adoption, ARR, retention, and expansion.
Provide executive reporting on product performance and progress toward strategic goals.
Requirements
Track record of bringing complex simulation products from concept to validation and to commercial launch & demonstrated success in go-to-market.
Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and lead an engineering organization that delivers true engineering value.
+10 years working in the simulation software industry. Involved in some capacity with tools such as Cadence Celsius, Siemens Flotherm, Ansys Icepak, COMSOL, SimLab, etc. Product leadership with thermal simulation software for electronics cooling is a plus.
Deep understanding of the end user, ideally you’ve been in their shoes before and can feel pain points and understand where product value is created. Ideally you’re intimately familiar with the electronics and liquid cooling domain and industry roadmap. Familiarity with manufacturing (DFM, DFaM) is a plus.
Deep understanding of the simulation software market landscape, including customer segments, buying behaviors, go-to-market motions, and key economic drivers across the CAE ecosystem.
Exceptional communication skills with Engineering leadership, the CEO/Board, customers, industry partners and commercial teams.
Ability to understand emerging simulation technologies and communicate them credibly with technical stakeholders.
Data-driven and outcome-oriented, with a focus on measurable customer and business impact.
Familiarity with enterprise software business models, pricing, and licensing strategies.
This role is a great fit for you if:
You are deeply passionate about building a new class of simulation products that shapes the future of data center cooling.
You are mission-driven and exceptionally pro-active, thriving on breaking barriers and finding solutions.
You have led product strategy for complex engineering software and can scale an engineering organization through growth.
You can partner directly with founders and senior leadership, balancing innovation with execution.
You are comfortable leading Corintis’ simulation strategy—from customer conversations to strategic roadmap decisions to engineering execution.
This won’t be the right role for you if:
You have never owned a product vision or roadmap for a complex engineering or simulation product.
You lack a sense of urgency and ownership.
