The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Director of Operations and Supply chain to join our team to manage critical demand planning, ERP & supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic alignment between account management, sales, finance, machine vendors, external contract manufacturers, host facilities the rest of the exec team & customer contact as needed. The rest of the executive team will look to your recommendation to appropriately manage Capex governance on manufacturing expansion linked to customer demand.
Own the end-to-end ERP architecture & management of how we go from receiving and accepting a PO through ERP entry, order acknowledgement, manufacturing scheduling, build, shipment invoicing, revenue recognition and any additional required implementations with our customers supplier portals.
This role will also require that you assess if our current ERP system (Odoo) is suitable or if we need to migrate to a new platform.
RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) management across the company
Factoring in both customer demand and our capacity.
Lead and manage all aspects of the internal supply chain team including personnel & establish a logistics team and covering all product packaging responsibilities.
Manage inventory management and closely coordinate with the CFO function on working capital & financing considerations.
Manage our critical vendor relationships while ensuring dual sourcing and business continuity as well as site/host facility selection while managing general company procurement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant trade compliance as well as customer specific requirements.
Collaborates closely with the VP of Manufacturing through the planning process to ensure the efficient running of the manufacturing footprint.
Requirements
10-15+ years including at least 5 years in a leadership position in manufacturing operations/demand planning & supply chain.
Experience working in hardware/semiconductor/electronics or precision-manufacturing background.
Experience working within the fast paced and highly demanding data centre supply chain is a major plus.
Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
Onsite in St-Sulpice, Switzerland
Fluent English speaker, other languages are a plus
